ya'll prolly remember that my mama is kinda sorta a cheap skate. heehee. well, she finally broke down and bought one of those furminator thingies that cost a pile of green papers. apparently my blondie furs were gatherin' everywhere, and mama was gettin' a smidge cranky pants. anywho, i got furminated, and it felt sooooo good! even my big sis asa, who doesn't have very many furs to begin with, got a mini furmination! we love how smooth 'n shiny our furs looked afterwards. also, mama can already tell that there are WAY less of my blondie furs in the house, which means mr. vacuum gets to stay in his cave more often. now that's what i call a win-win situation!!

We've been dying to buy one but the price put us off. I have to vacuum twice a day sometimes & we go through Lint rollers like crazy to get the hair off our clothes.
Oh no!!! You got one of those things too!? She took all my fur away with it too and now when I wiggle up against her I leave nothing on her clothes!!! Drats!!

I have a furminator and I love that thingy. I am glad that You and Asa like yours. I think that ANYTHINGY that keeps Vacula in his cave.. is a darn wonderful thingy FUR sure!!!
My mom is a cheap skate too and she hasn't bought me one of those. Being a Westie I don't really shed though so I at least she doesn't get cranky pants over that one.
We have one of those furminator thingies too, but Mom only uses it once in a while. She thinks it breaks our furs. Maybe that's because our coats are so much longer and thicker and we have that undercoat too. None of us really likes it very much, but we know a lot of other pups love it. You and Asa both look great so it must have worked well.
Maybe you can make yourselves a little AsaBooker puppy with all that fur.

Did it hurt? Was it scary? My Moms could end up getting one of these, so we really need to know if we should worry. We might not be as brave as you and Asa. We do notice that you seem to be unharmed. We're very glad about that.

You should see our yard after Morgan gets furminated! Dad furminated Morgan Saturday before Easter and it looked like the Easter Bunny Massacre had happened in our front yard. Getting rid of all that hair feels great, doesn't it?

My mom uses brushes on me. I can't tell whether I like being brushed or not. I like getting her attention but I don't like being brushed when the outside world is so interesting. I can't run around and I am pinned down all the time she thinks she's doing a big favour for me.

Mama got our furminator from Ebay, too, for about 1/2 the OTC price. She's a little scared of it, though, because of the razor. So she doesn't use it on us very much. But thanks to your reminding her, we're afraid we're about to get worked over again. Although, thanks to the OP & Stumpy, Jed will be quick to point out he as longish, thickish fur that would certainly be damaged in the process. So all is not hopeless.

Haha, the furball toot! Riley gets FURminated regularly--especially in the spring and summer. She got FURminated today. I got a ton of fur off of her. Since Riley has an undercoat, I can get bunches of fur off of her. Chloe has fur like Asa and we barely get anything off of her (even though she sheds all over the place).

I have a confession to make...we had TWO pieces of cheesecake! Ack! One was a Chocolate Coconut Cream Cheesecake and the other was a Reese's Peanut Butter Cheesecake...they were both SOOOO good! I especially liked the coconut one. Thanks for the birthday wishes!
