i totally have a green paw, too!

so most of you know that my big sis asa is like the gardening pro, and she looooves to woof about it.  well, i am good at growin' stuff, too!  do you remember my tree that mama and daddy helped me plant a little over one year ago?  here is my tree -- a carolina sapphire -- when we planted it back in april 2010.

baby stan!

i named my tree stan.  i have been givin' him the mega attentions 'n cares.  i water stan lots 'n lots.  i fluff his pine straw, and i even woof to him every night before i go to bed.  i think he likes me cuz this is what he looks like now!

beefy stan!

Wow! We're totally impressed! The only things we can grow around here are weeds... :(

Maybe Riley and I could make a trip down to SC from VA to visit you and you and Asa can give us some gardening tips? We would go visit Wyatt but the trip is WAAAAY too long! Plus, you have proved that you're just as good at gardening as he is! :)

I am feeling much better today--thank you (and Asa) for sending me such gooey kissies through Riley! They must have given me the cure, I'm sure of it!

Wow, Booker - you did very well. Your carolina sapphire sure has grown and filled out in one year. The Momster says we boys ruin all the lower parts of our shrubs because we water them too much - what's up with that?

Love that last pic of you.

Booker, your tree is great and I love that it's called Stan.

About Gidget being a girl with a boy voice - that's the sort of tricks they play in the acting biz. Did you know that Lassie was usually played by a boy? You probably did. Blog Mom found that out back in the 50's and found it really disturbing. I'm not sure she ever got over it.

I don't know how I missed this post!

You did an excellent job of taking care of Stan! He grew so tall and full. I have a tree too but my boys never pay much attention to it other than to pee on it once in awhile.

Hello Booker Man!

You have a green paw! I'm impressed! That tree is as big as you now...sorry I've been not around lately, but now that it's getting too hot, me and mommy will be indoors more so we can visit on a regular basis.

Happy gardening, my friend!
