a quick note from the mama -- please read

sweet wilf
i was shocked and saddened to learn this morning that one of our special blogging friends, wilf, has been diagnosed with a tumor on his spleen and polyps on his lungs and heart.  his time left with his humans will most likely be very short.  this news alone is heartbreaking, but even more so when it is coupled with the fact that wilf's brother, digby, left for the rainbow bridge only 5 months ago.
if you have not already, would you please take the time to go visit wilf's blog and leave some kind words for his humans, angus and "the font"?  i know they would be comforted by your care and concern.
thanks so much!

Thank you for posting about this. We just learned about it a little while ago from Asta and we are heartbroken. Sometimes life seems very cruel. I know I'm going to hug all of mine extra tight tonight.

It was Angus's posts about the loss of Digby and the kind and heartfelt responses from this community of bloggers that first got me hooked on you all. I am so saddened by this news. We lost our princess, Allie to the same thing a year ago this month. It reminds us to enjoy each day with our furiends.

I am not good at this. I just HATE that we seem to be having so many of our furends moving toward the Bridge. I am soooo sad.

We read about Wilf over at Maxmom's blog this morning. We hadn't met them before but we went by to send them lots of purrs and prayers. We are so sad for them having to loose their two furry babies so close together.

I saw this and visited earlier and will keep checking back. It's just heartbreaking, especially so soon after Digby. We just hurt for them all terribly.

I cried when I read the diagnosis ealier today. I didn't start following Wilf's blog until just before Digby died. My heart is hurting after hearing such awful news.

You're very kind to post this and ask everyone to stop by and leave a message. I thought about it but I've seen several messages of support for him on blogger already so I didn't.

Yes, we know...and we are so so sorry.
We have been going over to see Wilf, first and last thing we have done, everytime we log on.

Maybe Digby is very lonely and wants his brother to be with him...
For us here on earth, it is so difficult to fathom...

We've followed Digby and Wilf for quite some time but you are an awesome boy to point this out for folks so they can visit and send their love to Wilfy.
